PUR is recruiting a Business Developer (Senior Program Manager).

As part of the Program\xe2\x80\x99s team, the successful candidate will report to the Global Programs Director based in Paris and be the lead contact for PUR corporate partners based in Asia.

As a key member, you responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Program Management:

Being responsible for the smooth running of programs in Asia;

Being the key interlocutor and maintain positive dialogue with our partners in Singapore (mainly multinational companies);

Being responsible for impact monitoring and contractual agreements, monitoring budgets and developing contracts;

Supporting the team based in Europe and North America in providing expected deliverables.

Business Development:

Strategy :

Define and implement PUR\xe2\x80\x99s commercial strategy for Asia (short term, medium term and long term);

Stay up to date with new developments in key strategic countries (Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia) around changing laws, new calls for proposals, changes to carbon frameworks or approaches to Article 6. This could be through industry or news publications, conversations with clients and prospects, participation in industry groups, meetings with relevant government officials or other stakeholders;

Meeting industry needs and targets for climate and procurement strategies.

Network & Representation :

Develop PUR network to create business opportunities in Asia;

Develop proposals for new and existing clients;

Design project concepts;

Represent PUR publicly at conferences/events, in meetings with existing and potential clients.

Sector Knowledge:

Conducting research and reviewing Industry standards and certifications, sectoral initiatives, national and international policies, supply chains trends, environmental tools and mechanisms.

You have demonstrated excellent commercial and sustainable programs management skills in consulting firms or in the Industry & Services sector,

You are passionate about ecosystems protection and social issues, and you want to have a strong impact, this position is for you!

We are looking for a candidate with:

Minimum 10 years work experience in business development and management of international projects, preferably familiarity with the Industry and Services sector;

You have a strong knowledge in sustainability and about the voluntary carbon market;

Master Degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields including but not limited to sustainability, agriculture or international development; academic experience related to regenerative practices seen as a plus;

Any experience related to restoration projects, climate, agroforestry, social and environmental policy and corporate social responsibility will be seen as an asset;

Professional fluency in English and Mandarin;

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
