Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join Korn Ferry Digital, specifically focusing on our Assessment Solutions (read more about KF Assess ). KF Assess gives our clients a deep understanding of their organization\'s total talent composition, so they can create the appropriate organizational strategy and design to reach their goals.

You will be responsible for identifying new prospects, converting them into clients, and collaborating with HR leaders on an identified set of large, highly strategic prospects. You will accomplish this through the ability to sell the full scope of the company\'s solutions in a consultative manner, negotiate an effective contract, and tailor solutions that address client needs.

You will be seen as a unique authority in Korn Ferry\'s Assessment solutions and is visible and influential across the business.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities will include, but are not limited to;
  • Building business development plan to grow solution area and targeting specific organizations, contacts and markets
  • Selling solutions that are often integrated (cross-category e.g. Learning and Development and Assessments) or meeting a variety of complex business challenges. To achieve this, cultivating senior relationships, identifying new opportunities, and key account management skills are critical.
  • Demonstrating a deep level of knowledge across your specialist category area, acting as a trusted advisor, both internally and externally.
  • Maintaining and expanding long term relationships for the purpose of generating new and yield/cross-sell business.
  • High levels of coordination and influence of multiple internal stakeholders to drive the account and related projects.
  • Preparing complex proposals and solutions that require creativity, entrepreneurialism and specialist knowledge.
  • Ability to engage with client\'s technical buyers and debate the merits of KF\'s products.
  • Analysing specified problems and issues to find the best technical and/or professional solutions.
  • Being very well networked across KF and able to persuade and encourage Consultants to adopt KF Digital solutions.
  • Tracking and updating client information and opportunities in customer relationship management systems.
  • Preparing presentations and sales contracts.
  • Complying with contracting and account administration processes to ensure that contractual, legal and invoicing requirements are met, and high levels of efficiency maintained.
Professional Experience/Qualifications/Skills
  • Experience with developing new business and maintaining client relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial, bold and creative - understanding the deep-rooted challenges within an account and positioning broad solutions to fit.
  • Significant experience in Digital SaaS consultative selling and pre/post sales activities within professional services
  • Deep expertise in Learning, L&D and/or Assessment & Selection, with a good understanding of how Korn Ferry\'s broader solutions support business issues.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Coaches, mentors and develops junior staff and others
  • Able to provide substantial input which contributes to the ongoing development and improvement of major KF Digital global processes, protocols and standards
  • Strong pipeline analysis and opportunity forecasting skills.
  • Strong customer-centered selling skills.
  • Ability to present and defend point of view constructively and persuasively.
  • Insatiable curiosity and drive to succeed. Perseverant and upbeat.
  • Understands how to work with senior level management. Solutions oriented.
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
