InterMoor currently have a requirement for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. Based in Singapore, the Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for ensuring all existing clients and accounts under their responsibility are managed in an effective manner in order to maximize potential spend and business relations.

Duties:

  • Develop an appropriate network of influential industry contacts in order to be aware of market opportunities and industry trends that affect company business
  • Maintain and develop existing and new clients and opportunities for the mooring rental, sale segments and project business in the assigned territory within APAC
  • Implement Marketing plans for the assigned SEA market sector through Exhibitions, Product presentations, Technical Seminars to promote the mooring rental/ sale and project business
  • To offer mooring solutions and services to the Offshore Floaters sector both in the O&G, Renewable Energy and Aquaculture market
  • To educate clients on Company range of mooring and subsea expertise
  • Identify and develop business opportunities in assigned territories / segments with an established pursuit strategy plan
  • Assist in the preparation of quotations/tenders and coordinate tender process and submissions as per company process and in liaison with the team as and when required
  • To Coordinate the resources of other Acteon companies to Compliment Company business and maximise opportunities
  • Prepare sales plan, reports, and reliable forecasts for monthly reporting in a timely manner
  • Input data into CRM, ensure that it remains maintained and active and be the custodian of the assigned sales opportunities, spearheading the conversion rate of the opportunities with the support of the team
  • Monitor Competitor performance to assess and improve InterMoor's Competitive position
  • To identify potential business partner relationships throughout the region
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with the Company's Policies and Procedures
  • Travelling to and meeting with key connections as and when required
Requirements:
  • Degree level educated in Business or a relevant Technical discipline would be preferred but candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working within the Oil and Gas or Renewable Energy with a proven track record in business development is essential
  • Excellent understanding of the Floater installation market comprising of FPSO, drilling rigs and floating wind is essential
  • An overview knowledge and understanding of Offshore mooring sector's markets, competition, risks, opportunities and regional business models
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal forms with highly effective inter-personal skills supported by good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with a strong sense of personal accountability and self-motivation as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Creative and adaptable in the ability to manage new challenges
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple, complex and fast-track priorities with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Works closely with others to maximise team achievements and effectiveness through developing relationships and continuous sharing of knowledge and ideas
  • Ability to travel regularly around the APAC region
