Job Summary

Lead material readiness workstream by working with cross functional teams to ensure material is purchased, received, tested and released in timely manner according to business and production requirement. To lead Material Review Board (MRB) by coordinating aging & slow-moving material, Block & Quarantine stock review meeting by having timely follow up on the material disposition to ensure continuous material supply and minimize inventory write off and material scrap.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Lead/support various initiatives/program to achieve inventory KPI e.g. Inventory reduction, Raw Material Safety Stock Optimization. Raw material JIT parts planning, Semi-Finished-Goods Supermarkets and Finish Goods.

Drive inventory optimization using planning system and streamline supply chain process including maintaining and reviewing inventory levels based upon forecast, safety stock, and/or strategic product importance

Develop plan to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement

Planning and Purchasing of raw material, auxiliary material, process chemicals, direct and indirect material including operating supplies to support production requirement by processing PR/PO and liaise with vendors & freight forwarder for on-time delivery, and to ensure that quality products are purchased in accordance.

Manage, monitor, replenish and expedite purchase orders to ensure right quantity with right price & good quality materials are delivered timely

Review MRP output to ensure all required actions are managed and follow up accordingly

Support trading goods purchase and ensure on time delivery

Lead / participate for the projects assigned. Able to identify mitigation plan to ensure continuous supply

Maintain SAP purchasing & planning parameters and production master data

Support material creation activities for the plant, including SAP part number creation for sample trials, new semi-finished and finished goods, and procurement materials.

Production and equipment work center creation and maintenance

Able to coach team member in supporting departmental purchasing activities & objectives

Develop, Maintain and Update SOP when is applicable

Participation in audits as required

Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Basic Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration or Equivalent.

Min 8 years of purchasing & planning experience in manufacturing environment

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Excel and SAP module in PP/MM. SAP master data management experience.

A good team player, able to drive alignment and communicate well with cross functional teams

KPI reporting

Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this

Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target

Able to comply with the company\'s safety policy at all times.
