The Role To lead and guide Category Managers in their areas of work so that they achieve their key objectives Drive category sales, achieve profits as well as objectives of assigned categories by monitoring consumer, market and industry trends Develop strategies to grow the market share and counter competition of assigned categories Develop and implement exciting promotional plans that bring incremental sales to the stores Develop and implement a good inventory management process to optimize product mix that focuses on customers' needs and achieves shrinkage reduction objective Develop and implement planogram strategies that positively influence customer shopping behavior and improve category turnover Oversees the implementation and development of category strategies of the private label or house brand products Establish collaborative retailer / supplier relationships to maximize income/ terms / discounts to improve sales and profitability of category About You Min. 4 - 6 years stretching experience in similar position preferably in the Retail or FMCG sector Executive from a customer centric industry and holds relevant merchandising, marketing and entrepreneurial skills Diploma holder / University degree in business or marketing or related discipline Good knowledge of Markets, comfortable in interpreting data and drive value-add insights Excellent presentation skills with high standards of International language and is comfortable to promote cross functional effectiveness Strong interpersonal skills, energetic, creative, highly adaptable, collaborative and is a proactive team player Good and effective negotiation skills, leadership and is comfortable to communicate at different organization levels Benefits Competitive salary and benefits The chance to join a diverse group of leaders from all over the world who are passionate, collaborative, and bring the knowledge of the multiple to DFI Retail Group.
