Responsibilities and requirements:
Assist in the daily operations and work towards the achieve of targeted budgets.
Keep current of market trends and assist to plan menu accordingly.
Perform duties in compliance with the established policies and procedures, and job description.
Implement and conduct relevant training for team members.
Maintain effective communications between management and all team members.
Maintain a high standards of skills to preparation and presentation, and closely monitor portion conformity and ingredients specifications.
Ensure cleaning schedule is adhered to.
Take responsibility for the adherence and compliance of all health, safety and food hygiene legislation.
At least 6 years of proven experience with Japanese cuisine in a related capacity.
Planning individualized and unique multi-course Japanese menu.
Has excellent sense of taste and creativity in food presentation.
Strong leadership skills to lead, manage and motivate staff.
