Experience Design plays a huge role in HP Print, and our Design team is growing! We are looking for a Senior CMF Designer in Singapore with a keen awareness of what is going on in this region and how macro trends affect product Color, Material & Finishing. Here you will be co-creating & supporting holistic CMF design strategies for HP that is focused on innovation, building compelling design narratives and taking us to the next chapter of sustainability. You are a mature CMF design specialist and must have the advanced ability to make intelligent business choices, focus on strategy across the print businesses, work with internal business partners and manage multiple materials developments & innovations. Most importantly, we are a closely-knit international team that has fun doing what we love to do. What a Senior Color Material Finish (CMF) Designer does at HP:

• Create CMF conceptual designs and CMF stories.
• Collaboration with Global CMF Lead on Color Strategy per marketing segment and support Advanced CMF Design & Innovation.
• Responsible for Project CMF Execution, Palettes & Regional Trends Reports.
• Responsible for self-directed, individual CMF projects based on relevant Global CMF Lead directions
• Develop and visualise CMF ideas with 2D/3D renderings and provide design proposals & trend boards for communicating with teams.
• Present CMF roadmap, work with R&D teams and vendors to develop CMF concepts. Interface with Marketing and R&D for Execution & Presentations.
• Provide the design team with accurate and up-to-date information on trends and developments
• Collect and create physical CMF samples, build up and maintain CMF library for team\xe2\x80\x99s inspiration and implementation.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Design or equivalent creative education and work experience.
• Typically 5 - 8 years CMF work experience.
• Proficient 2D skills (Adobe Creative suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) and MS Office.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling is a plus (experience with software like Rhino, Keyshot etc).
• Self-starter: taking initiative, working independently with a hands-on approach, open-minded to accept challenges.
• Excellent organisational skills coupled with a pro-active, team-based personality.
• Ability to effectively communicate CMF design data, design proposals and specifications and negotiate options at management levels.
• Knowledge of industrial production processes, such like tooling, forming, finishing processes, etc.
