We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity in our Commercial team in Singapore as a Senior Commercial Business Analyst for South East Asia region.As a Senior CBI Analyst based in Singapore, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting the development, planning and implementation of the commercial strategy, providing business analytics to maximize revenue, profit generation across the region, and ensure achievement of budget targets.Your primary role is to transform data into readable, goal-oriented analysis and insights, driving conversations with stakeholders to support effective business making and drive sales for all commercial functions across the region.This represents a fantastic opportunity in a fast-paced environment in a leading Aviation group to contribute to our continued development and evolution.Key Accountabilities:\xc2\xb7 Analyze traffic segments, distribution channels and travel agencies to drive QR market share and revenue goals.\xc2\xb7 Interpret and analyze large sets of data on assigned portfolio and make recommendations to improve our commercial strategy.\xc2\xb7 Identify market opportunities through internal and external analysis and initiate proposals to generate incremental revenue.\xc2\xb7 Provide commentary on performance to KPIs e.g., market share and revenue performance under assigned portfolios.\xc2\xb7 Lead on discussions with internal stakeholders e.g. Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Network Planning teams, etc. to drive tactical and structural initiatives.\xc2\xb7 Monitor performance of fare products, sales incentives and commercial initiatives.\xc2\xb7 Build business cases to support recommendations on commercial product/policy changes to improve portfolio performance\xc2\xb7 Work closely with Global CBI and Revenue Management, as well as other data stakeholders, to improve the data processing flow and the data adoption by regional CBI and sales team.\xc2\xb7 Support management in formulating commercial strategy and plans, as well as ad-hoc commercial studies/project when requiredBe part of an extraordinary storyYour skills. Join us as we dare to achieve what\xe2\x80\x99s never been done before.Together, everything is possibleQualificationsPreferred Education and Experience:\xc2\xb7 Minimum of Diploma in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research.\xc2\xb7 4 years of practical experience in Commercial/Analytical functions.\xc2\xb7 Travel industry, with interest in aviation/QR knowledge as a plus.Candidate should possess the following skills:\xc2\xb7 Proven commercial skills and business acumen.\xc2\xb7 Able to analyze voluminous, complex data, identify patterns and trends and deliver meaningful insights to management.\xc2\xb7 Strong verbal and written communication to influence/negotiate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.\xc2\xb7 Independent, proactive individual who is able to anticipate needs and develop alternatives based on value created.\xc2\xb7 Flexible and open to changing priorities, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and able to follow through to conclusions.\xc2\xb7 Excellent collaborator with team members and cross functional teams in dynamic and fast-pace environment\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate positive and innovative learning attitude, problem solving, and stakeholder management\xc2\xb7 Able to express dissenting opinion in a professional and appropriate way.\xc2\xb7 PC literate with knowledge of World/PowerPoint/Excel/Outlook/Tableau.You must have the legal rights to live and work in Singapore to be considered for this role.About Qatar Airways GroupOur story started with four aircraft.
