About the position:

G-P is looking for a Senior APAC Communications Manager responsible for enhancing and raising awareness of G-P in priority markets in the APAC region across media relations, content creation, social media, and internal communications. Reporting to the Director, Global External Communications, this strategic team member will serve as regional and subject matter expert on the communications team and working closely with global teams and the regional marketing and revenue teams.

What you will do:

  • Serve as APAC communications lead, responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of programs in Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore.
  • Collaborate with the U.S. and EMEA communications leads and manage network of regional PR agencies to drive global communications strategies - guiding the localization of programs and materials, as well reporting and analyzing results.
  • Liaise with cross-functional and cross departmental partners in the APAC region to ensure strategic alignment of activities and consistent messaging.
  • Provide strategic counsel and guidance on communications efforts to in-region executives and spokespeople.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with top business, technology and vertical trade media.
  • Strategically build and expand the influencer relations program for APAC-based influencers in coordination with team members in the U.S.
  • Serve as the liaison for the social media team in APAC, managing onsite social support as needed at internal and external events on G-P company accounts on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Draft communications materials including media pitches, byline articles, social media posts, plans and press releases.
  • Contribute to and edit presentations and content for speaking opportunities and presentations.
  • Monitor and share relevant media coverage to contribute to internal communications content (e.g., newsletters, company meetings) and quarterly metrics reports.
  • Contribute to quarterly communications and marketing dashboards and reporting.
What we are looking for:
  • Education: Master\'s/Bachelor\'s degree in communications, business, marketing, psychology, sociology or other relevant fields
  • Experience managing media relations and working with PR agencies in multiple countries as part of global program.
  • Experience developing content across a range of platforms, for multiple stakeholders
  • Experience managing corporate social media content and posts.
  • Experience working for or partnering with B2B cloud companies, HR tech and/or fintech experience preferred.
  • Additional language proficiency not required, but a plus.
  • Interest and ability to learn, write and master complex product and technology messaging.
