Our client is one of the largest life insurance company in Singapore. We are looking for someone to join the sales compliance team specializing in market conduct & balance scorecard

Reporting to a Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Provide advisory services to Business Units concerning the interpretation, application and operationalisation of market conduct-related regulations, or on new business initiative
• Provide assurance/oversight on Business Units via the conducting agency assurance exercises and compliance reviews to identify and close compliance gaps
• Improve market conduct risks by applying best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues, and regulatory areas of focus
• Perform regulatory and management reporting where required
• Identify and engage relevant Business Units to resolve any market conduct compliance issues faced, including issues raised by the regulator
• Understand insurance sales and be able to identify market conduct risks from new initiatives or emerging trends
• Support the larger Sales Compliance section, and Market Conduct department on projects or on section/department-wide initiatives/working groups as required
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in market conduct or sales compliance
• Able to work well in a team
• Strong communication skills
