Role Responsibilities

  • Elicit detailed requirements from business and control teams and translate them into user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure cross-functional analysis is carried out during the defining and grooming phases by collaborating with other technology teams and tapping into the collective knowledge of BA practice.
  • Contribute to the establishment of design solutions by sharing and validating options in the context of requirements and roadmap.
  • Maintain a repository of features inventory and data maps for the domain space.
  • Work with design and testing teams to ensure that requirements and solutions are correctly understood, refined, and translated into equivalent deliverables at each stage of execution.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to establish use cases and assist with establishing MVP based on priorities and costs involved.
  • Establish L0 sizing and T-shirt sizing by connecting needs and requirements with solution options and dependency factors.
  • Contribute to driving high-quality systems design and adherence to global architecture principles.
  • Cultivate wider insights and hands-on delivery capabilities for others in specializing domains and become a superior Subject Matter Expert.
  • Prepare FSD and ensure the documentation provided meets the required standards.
  • Provide insights to the UTT team regarding the priority and criticality of features to test for a product and review the test strategy and scripts.
  • Provide function validation support during UAT phases to ensure that requirement exit criteria are met correctly.
  • Engage in innovative problem-solving activities that require conceptual thinking and create \'out-of-the-box solutions with prototypes and pilots.
  • Foster an environment of technical excellence and innovation.
  • Work effectively with remote teams, focusing on fostering positive working relationships.
  • Ensure responsible deliverables are created by adding thoroughness, accuracy, and reliability to the mix.

Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of technology experience with at least 7 years of BA/System Analyst capacity in the cards and payments application domain on a mainframe platform.
  • Strong functional knowledge of cards to design and develop effective/efficient solutions in meeting business requirements.
  • Experience with large-scale card migration on Cardlink will be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in project management, leading a team of developers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of system enhancement of varying scales.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Projects.
  • Concise understanding of the system development life cycle.
  • Effective people leader with good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.

Competencies:
  • In-depth knowledge of the Credit Cards domain.
  • Past roles as a Senior Business Analyst with demonstrable experience leading solution delivery in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Experience working as a business analyst and providing solutions design in the Cards/Vision Plus space across multiple functions like Cards Management, Transaction Management, Disputes, Authorization, Loans, EPP, rewards, Loyalty, etc.
  • Experience executing projects requiring cross-functional analysis across business lines and technology teams.
  • Ability to think through technical solutions to business problems/requirements and bridge the gap.

Education:
  • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
