SENIOR CONSULTANT - HIGHER EDUCATION
REMOTE - DUBAI

More information is available here:About the RoleWe are looking for a Consultant/Senior Consultant - Higher Education based in Dubai, who will be responsible for management and support of project work in the Middle East region, and playing a significant role in supporting the wider work of the consultancy team.This role is reporting to the Managing Director of THE\xe2\x80\x99s Consultancy team, working closely with other members of the consultancy team in the UK and Singapore (as well as other teams across THE).The candidate should have professional experience in a strategic consultancy role and should be comfortable with quantitative and qualitative data analysis, with strong reporting skills, including an eye for data visualisation. They will need to be used to a fast-paced environment, working independently and creatively within a hard-working team. Working with colleagues around the world may require irregular working hours and overseas travel.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client-facing consultancy projects (market scoping, sector analysis, online surveys, qualitative research etc.) designed according to client needs.
  • Support the wider consultancy team in data analysis and reporting in projects involving universities, governments, corporates and other entities; playing a significant role in the successful delivery of such projects
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of THE\xe2\x80\x99s data and rankings methodologies
  • Contribute to the Consultancy team\xe2\x80\x99s strategy and business development
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge, including attendance at THE events and reviewing professional publications
Experience and Skills Required
  • Confident and independent self-starter who is able to hit the ground running; comfortable working within teams as well as being able to work effectively autonomously
  • Track record of project management and successful delivery of quantitative and qualitative research projects
  • Experience in project, research and evaluation design
  • Demonstrated success in presenting complex data clearly and accurately in both verbal and written formats, with a keen eye for data visualisation in creating presentation slides
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with various internal stakeholders and external clients (including senior stakeholders from academia, government and industry)
  • Ability to work to agreed deadlines, working well under pressure, with excellent planning and organisational skills in order to manage and prioritise own workload
  • Passionate about the role of global higher education
  • Willing to work irregular hours and travel internationally
  • Strong MS Office skills \xe2\x80\x93 Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Educated to at least BA/BSc level
  • Desirable: experience of online survey software (e.g. Qualtrics and Survey Monkey) and the analysis software Q-research
