We deliver solutions through our market-leading business practices of Corporate Finance & Restructuring, Economic Consulting, Forensic & Litigation Consulting, Strategic Communications and Technology.Position SummaryWe are hiring a Senior Consultant (Planning and Delay Analysis) for the Singapore Branch of FTI Construction, Projects & Assets Practice.The candidate will be based in Singapore but have a regional role to provide planning and delay analysis services to projects generally within Asia, but with the possibility of working further afield if required.What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:Programme/Schedule

  • Develop programme/schedule
  • Prepare, monitor and manage procedures, processes and systems
  • Manage project progress, identify critical activities, mitigations and other key metrics
  • Communicate project programme/schedule/risk and decision making factors to then clients
  • Analyze project programmes/schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project formats) to:
  • Identify critical path and any other drivers for project delay
  • Identify programme/schedule feasibility issues through the use of constraints, activity lags, etc.
  • Assist senior team members to in evaluating effects of delaying events on the progress and completion by way of delay analysis (prospective and/or retrospective)
  • Where necessary, reconstruct programmes/schedules in MS Project or P6
Project Correspondence
  • Drafting of formal correspondence related to Extension of Time claims on behalf of clients
Project information
  • Liaise with clients to identify and collect necessary project information
  • Review and analyze project information to identify key details related to project progress, delays, disruption, productivity, etc.
  • Extract key information related to project delays including durations, affected activities, knock-on effects, etc.
  • Arrange key information in a chronological manner
  • Review and scrutinize contract requirements as well as available project information to identify applicable suitable delay analysis methodologies
Basic Qualifications
  • 4 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years relevant experience in planning and delay analysis
  • Familiar with key project information related to progress including progress reports, programme updates, formal instructions, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of operating Primavera P6 is essential. Knowledge of MS Project or other planning software is an added advantage.
  • Able to analyze programmes/schedules to identify and track delaying events
  • Proficient in English and other language capability will be added advantage
  • Exposure to SCL Protocol and AACEI Guidelines is an added advantage
  • Exposure to standard form contracts, particularly provisions for Extension of Time, is an added advantage
  • Regional/Global travel to client office(s) and/or FTI regional office(s) as needed
  • Attend early/late hours\xe2\x80\x99 regional/global meetings as needed
