Job Description

The Network Engineer is responsible for managing day to day support of operational tasks, requests, incidents and changes meeting customer's requirements and Service Level Agreements.The activities include: conducting health check, conduct infrastructure monitoring, handle customer queries, investigate incidents reported, resolve the incidents, apply fixes, and also to ensure that incidents reported are tracked and resolved till closure assisting the Team Lead/Operations Manager to train and guide junior team membersKey Responsibilities Analysing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems remotely and on-site Responsibility for documenting incident RCA report the configuration of the system and (network) system performance tuning Responsibility for security compliance, patching, health check & hardening remediation Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems Performing standard or project change request as per change window Provide on-call 24 x 7 support on a rotating basis Responsible for applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes Performing disaster recovery operations Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentationThe ideal candidate should possess Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent Experienced in network/security administration in enterprise DC and Public Environment Experiences in supporting firewall /network product such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki and Check Point Experienced in troubleshooting system, middleware and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software issues, analysing system logs and identifying potential issues/incident Experience in managing IT Network Infrastructure operations (2 year or more)
