We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our growing Singapore based team. You will provide technical and commercial advice on significant infrastructure M&A deals across the globe working with many of the worlds leading infrastructure investors across the lifecycle of their investments covering, energy, utilities, digital, transport and social infrastructure sectors.ABOUT THE ROLEOur Deal Advisory team assists global infrastructure investors with buy and sell-side Technical, Commercial, Environment Health and Safety due diligence with strategic value adds such as transition plans through to turnarounds.Based in Singapore you will be trusted to work in a way that is right for you while meeting client needs. With no two projects the same, you will experience variety as standard and need to rise to the challenge, embrace change and make complex easy.You will be commercially focussed with an engineering, project management, BA, economics and finance, law background and a global mindset.Being a specialist in your field, you will have experience advising on Infrastructure M&A deals in one of the following sectors: onshore and offshore renewables, hydrogen, electrical/gas/water transmission and distribution, telecommunications and digital (including datacentres, telecom infrastructure), transport and social infrastructure.What youll be doingYou will be supporting public and private sector clients to acquire, procure and implement major infrastructure projects and programs. While supporting the ongoing development and growth of the Deal Advisory team across the globe. This will include:
  • Transaction documentation - developing high quality transaction documentation.
  • Transaction administration - actively managing data room and other administrative elements required for a successful transaction;
  • Transaction evaluation - identify the issues, risks and opportunities associated with the transaction. Support the evaluation of tenders and proposals by an appointed evaluation team and the preparation of the evaluation report; and deliver high quality business plans that represent value for money and achieve project objectives for our clients;
  • Transition support - assist our clients on their first 100 days of asset ownership based on the evaluation performed and beyond;
  • Provide analytical and practical project delivery support on delegated elements of client engagements, including identification, endorsement and achievement of clear engagement and project objectives. Identification and resolution of key risks and issues. Management and coordination of inputs and deliverables to ensure on time and high-quality outcomes and development of progress reports, briefs and other deliverables and facilitating and reporting to project governance meetings;
  • Client synergies - favourably discuss the value of RPS Deal Advisory offerings with potential clients;
  • Establish client relationships - begin to develop a state-wide network and market reputation and the capability to act upon relationships to identify business opportunities;
  • Winning work - actively contribute to the development of work proposals, logically organising sections of bids, including developing methodology around suggestions from senior team members
