Job Description

My client is a leading global Private Banking and Asset Management group, recognised for its long-term stability, integrity, and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a Senior Core Banking Developer (Avaloq) to join an agile and collaborative technology team that drives innovation across front-office solutions. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of Avaloq systems and related components within the Front Core Tooling IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, integrate, test, and deploy customer requirements within Avaloq, with a focus on front reports, XML messages, CRM, contact management, interfaces, and notifications. Ensure system stability and performance through consistent application of best development practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner. Maintain delivery quality through DevOps and shift-left methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to achieve technical and business objectives. Contribute to solution design, analysis, and backlog refinement processes.

Requirements:

Degree or completed apprenticeship in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Application Development, or a related technical field. Proven experience in Avaloq software parameterization. Strong understanding of Avaloq concepts, including interface technologies, object model, and workflow engine.

Technical Expertise:

Avaloq Scripting Language (APL) Avaloq Parameterization PL/SQL (Oracle databases) UNIX/Linux shell scripting Experience with unit testing (ATS tests) and performance analysis tools. Strong organizational and communication skills with experience in agile environments, delivering software iteratively.
