Key responsibilities:

Lead the Art (illustration) and Design teams with planning and designing impactful, attractive original content for offline and online platforms
Consult with internal stakeholders and teams from all disciplines
Meeting with clients to understand their message, brand voice and target audience
Maintains creative standards across all art and design outputs for internal projects and clients
Ability to lead, manage and motivate a small team of artists and designers
Consistently demonstrate sound creative judgment across strategy, ideation, craft and resource management
Keen interest with new digital technologies and social media best practices.

What are we looking for?

At least 8 years of art or design direction experience in an advertising, PR, or online marketing agency or similar field.
Strong design foundation (solid understanding of composition and typography) and understanding of social media principles and best practices
Understands branding, illustration and design process, and creating design systems and brand identities
Deep expertise on what art and design concepts work on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Linkedin
Proficient in software such as Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Experienced in editorial and interactive design is a plus
Familiarity with UI/UX work is a plus
Familiarity with Clip Studio Paint is a plus.
Familiarity with basic 3D software such as Google SketchUp or Blender is a plus.
Ability to research, conceptualise and work independently
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced working environment
Good team player with strong interpersonal skills
Organised and reliable, with an excellent eye for detail
A recognized qualification in Art, Media, Communications or equivalent would be advantageous, though not always compulsory
