Senior Credit Analyst, Oil trading multinational

• Leading oil trading company (Physical and Derivatives)
• Based in Singapore
• At least 5 years' experience in commodities or banks

This is an ambitious trading multinational with a global footprint, with Singapore serving as its key Asia Pacific trading centre. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high calibre senior credit analyst to support a high performing oil trading team.

Role

Reporting to the Head of Credit, the Senior Credit Risk Analyst will play an integral role in executing robust credit risk assessment and directly managing the relationships with the business unit heads. He/ She will serve as a key business partner working to support the business activities across locations in Asia, contributing to developing and executing business unit strategies and goals in the region. He/ She will analyse, structure and approve deals that are aligned with the firm's policies and risk appetite; educate businesses with regards to corporate and business counterparty risk policies/requirements/processes; as well as monitor and ensure compliance. The Senior Analyst will partner other regional counterparty risk management teams, analytics, market risk, to leverage insight, data, capabilities, talent, tools and best practices and drive efficiencies.

Requirements

The successful candidate is degree qualified in a business/ finance discipline with at least 5 years' regional counterparty credit experience gained in Commodities trading or global banks ideally in energy trading. You have strong business partnering, problem solving, analytical and change management experience. You will also be described as possessing excellent communication and presentation skills
