Summary of the role:

As a Senior Credit Analyst APAC, you will be responsible for conducting credit risk assessments on companies within the maritime ship supply and commodities markets. Your role will involve researching and analyzing data to make well-informed credit risk judgments, contributing to the enhancement of our report database, and supporting revenue growth .

Introduction to the role:

The Position:

• Produce credit reports monthly, meeting volume and timeliness KPIs while supporting the Credit Risk Team Lead in achieving regional and global targets
• Conduct active research and analysis on companies, shipping, and financial markets, as well as relevant data, to form confident and concise credit risk judgments while maintaining a high level of knowledge and integrity

Requirements:
Essentials:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business intelligence, consultancy, or data research
• Proven track record with at least 2-3 years of experience in an analytical role
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex company financial data and conduct company due diligence to consistently assess a company\'s financial standing
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across various departments within the organization

Desirable:

• Proficiency in another language, especially Mandarin, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Big Data management packages like SQL and Python, and experience using datasets in natural language processing (NLP) would be advantageous
• Comprehensive understanding of complex company ownership structures and financial/legal transactions in the maritime industry would be beneficial
• Innovative and dynamic problem-solving approach
• Presentation skills for internal and external audiences
