Senior / Customer Service Executive

About the role The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the IFF department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives. What you will be doing

  • Monitor pre-alert documents from Origin offices or Sales Support
  • Coordinate import permit and delivery arrangements with backend / Operations team
  • Track and monitor flight arrivals and update Customers if any deviations
  • Handle survey shipments with Operations & Customers
  • Handle all customers' enquiries timely and effectively
  • Handle ad-hoc or walk-in COD customers
  • Work closely with internal operations to meet customers’ requirements
  • Ensure compliance with customers’ Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure all data are updated correctly in system
  • Interface with multiple parties including customer, warehouse, carriers, customs, etc on shipment requirements
  • All other ad-hoc work instructions from Supervisor/Manager
Requirements The successful candidate
  • At least 1 year of experience in Airfreight and familiar with import and export process
  • Good understanding of Incoterms 2010
  • Self-discipline, initiative, responsible and independent in a fast-paced environment
  • A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible / Adaptive to changes
  • Meticulous to details
  • Able to commit OT / weekend duties / after office hours’ coordination
