Job Description

My client, a premier international software development company is looking out for a Senior Data Analyst to join their team and using your expertise to assist in buidling up the Critical Data Science part of their business.

The incumbent will be using data to help the company understand their users and learn about content trends.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leverage business intelligence tools to design and build dashboards to facilitate self-service of data

• Manage data quality and lifecycle, working with data engineers to ensure data integrity and availability

• Analyse large and complex data sets that represent the behaviour of millions of users globally

• Conduct inferential and predictive analyses to better understand user behaviour

• Identify factors that affect product performance and growth, derive actionable insights to achieve better product feature ideation and development

• Work closely with Product Managers, design A/B experiments, and optimize future product developments

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis

• Highly proficient in writing complex SQL queries

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline

• For data modeling: R, Python

• For data processing: Hadoop, MapReduce, Kafka, Redshift, BigQuery, Spark

• Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills

• Deep understanding of the usage and interpretation of statistical methods
