What the role is:We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong desire to protect public health and safety to join us as Senior/ Data Analyst, Vigilance & Compliance Branch (VCB).Lead study proposals; Develop statistical analysis plans and conduct analyses for clinical database studiesParticipate in data analytic projects to support post-marketing surveillance activities of health productsPerform statistical analyses on clinical databases to generate insightsContribute towards the development of an active safety monitoring programme for medicines e.g. develop study protocols and SOPsContribute, as an author, to journal publications, conference abstracts and postersSupervise student interns as requiredPerform other related duties as required\xe2\x80\x8bJob RequirementsPossess knowledge and experience in epidemiology plus training in related scientific disciplines, e.g. pharmacy, biostatistics, health informatics, or equivalent technical field with 3-5 years of experienceExperience in hospital pharmacy practice or post-market surveillance will be an advantageExperience in analysing electronic health records and assessing data quality and fit-for-purposeKnowledge in at least one statistical programming language (e.g. SQL, R, Stata or Python)Peer-reviewed journal publications in topics related to drug safetyGood interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skillsPossess ability to multi-task and work well within a fast-paced, project-focused environmentAbout Health Sciences Authority:The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) applies medical, pharmaceutical and scientific expertise through its three professional groups, Health Products Regulation, Blood Services and Applied Sciences, to protect and advance national health and safety.
