What the role is:We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong desire to protect public health and safety to join us as Senior/ Data Analyst, Vigilance & Compliance Branch (VCB).Lead study proposals; Develop statistical analysis plans and conduct analyses for clinical database studiesParticipate in data analytic projects to support post-marketing surveillance activities of health productsPerform statistical analyses on clinical databases to generate insightsContribute towards the development of an active safety monitoring programme for medicines e.g. develop study protocols and SOPsContribute, as an author, to journal publications, conference abstracts and postersSupervise student interns as requiredPerform other related duties as requiredJob Requirements

• Possess knowledge and experience in epidemiology plus training in related scientific disciplines, e.g. pharmacy, biostatistics, health informatics, or equivalent technical field with 3-5 years of experience
• Experience in hospital pharmacy practice or post-market surveillance will be an advantage
• Experience in analysing electronic health records and assessing data quality and fit-for-purpose
• Knowledge in at least one statistical programming language (e.g. SQL, R, Stata or Python)
• Peer-reviewed journal publications in topics related to drug safety
• Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills
• Possess ability to multi-task and work well within a fast-paced, project-focused environment
