Job Description

:

1. Lead presales engagements for RFPs, RFIs, and bid qualification (BQ), ensuring timely and high-quality responses aligned with customer requirements.


2. Design and present end-to-end solution architectures covering multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Snowflake, and on-prem ecosystems, including legacy (Oracle, DB2) and big data platforms (Cloudera, Hadoop, Hive, Spark).


3. Conduct discovery workshops and whiteboarding sessions to capture business objectives, technical constraints, and define solution scope.


4. Prepare detailed architecture diagrams, execution approaches, and high-level resource plans for proposals and customer presentations.


5. Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to craft winning proposals, including technical write-ups, cost models, and delivery methodologies.


6. Engage in proactive customer interactions via face-to-face meetings and Teams sessions, driving clarity and confidence in proposed solutions.


7. Support post-SoW sign-off activities, including delivery team onboarding, initial stabilization at customer site, and knowledge transfer.


8. Create quick sketches and diagrams during customer sessions to illustrate concepts and accelerate decision-making.


9. Advise on data governance, DQMS, lineage, and compliance frameworks, ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards.


10. Stay updated on emerging technologies in AI/ML, data engineering, and governance, incorporating best practices into presales strategies.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in presales solutioning for RFP/RFI/BQ processes across data analytics, AI/ML, and modern data platforms.


2. Mandatory awareness and hands-on exposure to all five variants: AWS, Azure (including Fabric, Synapse, Databricks), GCP, Snowflake, and on-prem (legacy DBs and big data ecosystems).


3. Strong architectural expertise in designing hybrid and multi-cloud solutions with scalability, security, and cost optimization.


4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging CXO-level executives and technical teams.


5. Flexibility to travel and work onsite for short durations post-contract sign-off to stabilize delivery teams and ensure customer confidence.

Must-Have Skills:

Cloud & Hybrid Platforms: 5 Years of Solution Architecting Experience in AWS, Azure (Fabric, Synapse, Databricks), GCP, Snowflake. On-Prem & Big Data: 5 Years of solution design and application architecture experience in Oracle, DB2, Cloudera, Hadoop, Hive, Spark. Data Management: 2 years of recommendation assessment experience in Governance tools, DQMS, lineage frameworks (Purview, Informatica, Collibra).

Good-To-Have:

Generative AI & LLMs: Alteast 1 year of solution design experience in Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI. BI & Visualization: Atleast 1 year of solution design experience in Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar tools for analytics storytelling. * Advanced Orchestration: 1 year of solution design experinece in Airflow, Data Factory, or equivalent for pipeline automation.
