Open up opportunities with HPE.:This role is accountable to establish, develop and optimize Data Governance Framework, Policy, Process & associated business program / solutions implementations for Global Operation team.Define data governance, data management frameworks and solutions together with Chief Data Officer team, IT and Global Operation functional groups.Support business units in digital transformation journey with data governance:Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Collibra onboarding or any data governance tool implementations.
  • Implemented data governance tools (Colilbra) to ensure their relevance and effectiveness in supporting business requirement
  • Drive data governance framework to improve overall data governance policy, processes, and standards
  • Provide expert consultation to global operation functions on data governance policy, processes and standards
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are aligned and conformed to the data landscape, roadmap and business requirements
  • Enable Data Governance framework including managing the objectives, approach, processes, policies and procedures around data governance
  • Build robust and scalable data governance ecosystem to support business needs
  • Define data governance operational processes (e.g., data quality measurement, metadata management) in accordance with policies and standards, clearly articulating roles and responsibilities
  • Provide expert consultation to assist business units in identify and setup of critical data elements including the setup of data lineage, data catalogue and data quality
  • Work collaboratively & consultatively with chief data officer, business units, IT to deliver enterprise objectives around data governance
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process & framework improvements: automating manual operational processes and control for data governance implementation
  • Support and contribute to development of guidelines and standards for data classification
  • Think strategically by proposing business metrics / alternative approaches to measure data governance value
  • Accountable for preparing and publishing Data Governance & quality metrics and KPI dashboards
  • Engage in Change Management processes for enterprise wide change initiatives and projects to ensure that Data Governance Framework and Standards are implemented
  • Collaborate with the relevant parties to ensure the correct processes, people, and technology are in place in order to support the data governance framework
  • Work with Group IT, data scientist and business analytics team to assist in data governance related issues and proved effective solutions
Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Mathematics / Statistics etc.)
  • Minimum of 8 years of business experience with at least 5 years of Supply Chain, IT or relevant functional experience required
  • Candidates with good understanding of supply chain ERP /MES/ planning systems are preferred ; Candidates with in-depth work experience in complex manufacturing esp. in electronics and hi-tech industries would be preferred
  • Familiarity with Industrial 4.0, Smart Factory Concept
  • Using Robotic to solve automation issue in Manufacturing Shopfloor
  • Understanding of industry standard integration technologies and standards ( such as EDIs, APIs etc)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain , manufacturing operations or operations role in industry consulting related to the above domains ; Alternately candidates transformation experience in the above domains are also welcome to apply
  • Experience in leading complex , cross-functional projects / modules from design to implementation, with a capability to work independently
  • Critical thinking , with outstanding analytical , stakeholder influencing and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Understanding and experience on requirements understanding, definition , prototyping of products and platforms is required
  • Ability to work in dynamic and changing requirements with a tenacity towards task management and prioritization
  • Experience with Agile product development methodology and tools is preferred
  • Comfort with constructively challenging existing processes and working on improving processes and outcomes
  • Preferred skills:
  • Candidates with in-depth work experience in complex manufacturing esp. in electronics and hi-tech industries would be preferred
  • Understanding of Digital product management experience in building digital products and platforms or intelligent process automation solutions including but not limited to applications in advanced analytics, business intelligence and blockchain / distributed ledger in supply chains
  • Understanding of leading technologies in the field of supply chain analytics and transformation
  • Excellent analytics and program management skills ; Certifications in Program Management such as PMP , PGMP etc are welcome
