Cognizant is seeking a highly experienced and agile Database Administrator (DBA) with a proven track record in managing and maintaining Oracle Database 19c and associated systems. This full-time Oracle Administrator role is based in Singapore and offers attractive salaries and benefits.

In this Database Administrator role, you will be critical in ensuring our client\'s mission-critical data performance, security, and availability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership in all aspects of database administration.

In your first few weeks in this Database Administrator role, you can expect to:

• Implement and maintain database security policies, access controls, and encryption

• Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks

• Implement and manage high availability solutions, including Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard

• Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies.

To apply for this Database Administrator role, you will need a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and at least eight years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator. You will also require the following:

• Proficiency with Oracle Database 19c, including in-depth knowledge of its features and capabilities

• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and advanced replication

• Excellent SQL and PL/SQL skills for query optimization and scripting

• Knowledge of database security best practices and compliance standards.
