Working Arrangement Hybrid
The role, under general supervision, is responsible for conducting complex financial, accounting and economic analyses, including journal entry preparation, detailed calculations and internal and external reporting.
Role and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to Accounting Team Leader , the Senior Derivatives Accounting Analyst is primarily accountable for preparing complex Journal Entries, various account reconciliations and regulatory reports through timel y and accurate service delivery of all the derivatives accounting tasks. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Performs daily reconciliation, investigation and clearing of over the cou nter (OTC), exchange-traded and cleared D erivatives S uspense A ccounts.
  • Prepares quarterly S ummary Suspense R econciliation with commentaries as part of the SOX requirement.
  • Reconciles cash collateral account for OTC and initial margin requirement account for exchange-traded derivatives.
  • Performs D erivative accounts reconciliations.
  • Prepares and posts daily, monthly and quarterly complex or specialized adjustments to the General Ledger.

  • Responsible for preparing complete and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
  • Supports the business unit in the completion of the quarterly financial close process.
  • Assists the business unit in providing information for internal and external audits.
  • Provides accurate and timely responses for all requests of information from different business units.
  • Works closely with the team in ensuring that all deliverable are submitted before deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business management.
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in accounting operations and/or audit.
  • Excellent analyt ical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environment and adapt to change while managing time and workload with aggressive timelines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across cultures. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel ( i.e. mastery of excel formulas and pivot tables is a must; knowledge in PowerBI is a plus). Proficient in MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Project.
  • Flexible on shift and overtime may be required to meet business deadlines.
