Summary of Role:

We are searching for a multidisciplinary leader for production materials team within the Materials and Indirect Procurement group in Global Supply Chain (GSC). This individual will lead a team of sourcing professional to procure the raw materials necessary for fab operations, excluding substrates. The leader is expected to lead overall supply chain strategy as well as the sourcing strategy for CMP / Slurry, Chemicals, Gases, Targets, etc. The leader will also be responsible for ensuring cohesiveness of regional strategy to align with the global strategy and partner closely with senior executives of fabs to ensure best-in-class cost structure and supply resiliency.

Essential Responsibilities:

Deliver differentiated value on goods and services procured by GlobalFoundries

Partner with business function leaders in manufacturing and technical development to support business operations

Understand business requirements and market dynamics of supply environment

Develop, align, and execute category strategies with functional partnership

Define and maintain materials procurement policy, such as allocation guardrails, etc.

Drive improvement to the procurement process for better service level and user-experience

Negotiate prices and contractual terms that maximizes benefit for the business

Create supplier strategy and supplier relationships at executive level to maximize mindshare

Required Qualifications:

Experience - 15+ years professional experience in procurement, consulting, program management and supply chain

Direct experience in pricing and contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, business strategy, continuity of supply strategy, and continuous process improvement

Communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner

Develop and maintain collaborative business relationships with stakeholders

Interact with all levels of the organization

Perform in a very fast paced environment

Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate and lead through ambiguity

Travel - Up to 10%
