Job Description
-
1. Manage the day-to-day activities of Prepress division 2. Provide individual job instruction as required and monitors performance 3. Check output for quality and adherence to customer specifications, takes corrective actions as needed 4. Make final decisions, in conjunction with Production Manager 5. Supervise and create print-ready files for artwork 6. Edit, design layout, typeset and produce documents for publication using desktop publishing 7. Ensure all work produced is technically correct resulting in high-quality, print-ready files 8. Assign and schedule all production art 9. Ensure production pieces are produced timely and with the degree of quality promised to the customer 10. Maintain interaction with print production and DTP/CTP staff on scope of projects 11. Collaborate as and when needed with DTP/CTP staff and Account Managers on new projects 12. Create mock-ups for client and suppliers 13. Train and provide direction / guidance to DTP/CTP staff in preparation of files and other technical tasks 14. Assess DTP/CTP staff 15. Keep abreast of current industry trends and print media technologyJob Requirements -
1. ITE Cert; Diploma an advantage 2. Min 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in related industry 3. Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign 4. Good communication and interpersonal skills
