As the Senior Manager, EHS for our Data Centre Operations in Singapore, you will be responsible for the EHS performance in all operational matters and fit-out projects in operational data centers across Singapore :

Key Responsibilities

• Raise awareness and drive culture in relation to EHS for the organization and our vendors.
• Ensure compliance to all legal and other requirements. This will include Workplace Safety, Fire and Life Safety, Environmental Protection, Occupational Health as well as Client Minimum Standards (GMS), and customers\' requirements.
• Review all legally required documents for all maintenance/ad hoc/retrofit/A&A work within the data centers - this includes Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures, permit to work, workers and equipment certifications and licenses.
• Ensure contractors\' EHS performance while performing work on-site by inspections e.g., on-site checking during high-risk work such as lifting operations, confined space entry.
• Attend to customers\' questions and requests on EHS.
• Ensure EHS training of employees, and whenever applicable, conduct in-classroom orientation and trainings to employees.
• Maintain ISO 45001 certification and manage and support all internal and external audits.
• Conduct monthly assurance inspections the data centre, ensure all findings are captured and adequate, effective corrective actions are in place.
• Manage EHS contractors by reviewing KPIs and performing periodic evaluations. Conduct monthly meeting with internal stakeholders to address issues and raise EHS awareness.
• Support EHS promotion activities to raise EHS awareness. Constantly provide advice on EHS to DC Site Operations, to raise competency and awareness and inculcate an EHS culture.
• Facilitate accident/ incident investigation, ensure on-time reporting to local authority (if applicable) and Group EHS, and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented actions.
• Support any EHS reporting requirements ie. monthly site EHS statistic reporting. Work closely with Group EHS to implement any EHS initiatives and programs.
• Drive a standardized and harmonised approach across in-
• country data centre to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. Work with leaders, staff and contractors at all levels to implement effective solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related fields
• Possess relevant certifications such as WSHO Certification, ISO 450001 Lead/Internal Auditor, Fire Safety Manager Certification
• At least 8 years of working experience with EHS programs, including construction and preferably with data centre experience.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors and customers.
• Experience communicating with local authorities regarding EHS issues.
• Experience in driving alignment and standardization for across a large organization and inculcating EHS culture.
• Demonstrate analytical, data quality troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of analytical software such as Power BI is preferred.
