We construct products for a range of industries including renewable energy, semiconductor, communication, biomedical, robotics or any industry that requires precise motion. We produce direct drive motors with a high force density and patented coil design that decreases cogging. Our linear and rotary motors also are available with stages that we manufacture ourselves so you can smoothly integrate the motor into your design. More than simply a manufacturer, we are also innovators. Our deep knowledge of engineering and dedication to the work has resulted in 44 patents, and our research and development into the field of magnetics will only continue to grow our business. Our engineers are able to custom design motors and stages to your specific requirements with you as a co-developer. Today, we have two production factories and numerous sales and support offices across the globe. At Akribis Systems, precision matters. Department Overview: Miniature stage department specilized in produce mini to medium size of precision motion system products, also known as stages, for broad spectrum of industries include semiconductor, medical, factory automation, and etc. The department includes multidisciplinary engineers with broad range of engineering knowledge ranging from mechanical design, control engineering, as well as assembly and troubleshooting skills sets to deliver precision stages. The department is growing to serve the niche market in design and provide factory automation equipments. We are in position creating growth opportunities for our staff to become future leaders or skilled personnels.
DESIGNATION : Senior / Electrical Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead in the conceptualization and design of electrical schematic diagram, single line diagram, cable harness and build, for motion controller systems, devices and sensors, used in Industrial automation machine and equipment.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to manage cable assembly and electrical control box build up
• Assist and supervise electrical control build
• Creation of Bill of Material of cables assembly and electrical component used in project
• Ensure design meets project required milestones and timeline
• Coaching of junior engineers on Electrical design and principle
• Overseas travel is required for field installation and field support

• Preferably with 3 Year(s) of working experience in Industrial Automation, Semiconductor and/or any other related field/industry is required for this position.
• Candidate must process at least a Degree in Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.

• Required Knowledge: Power Sizing, power distribution, motion control (advantage), Input/Output control, Electrical Safety
• Required Skill(s): AutoCAD, EPLAN
• Knowledge in SEMI S2 &S22 will be an advantage
