About the role
Our Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver designated technical and engineering workstreams which as part of an overall new product development program to meet business goals. The post holder has responsibility for all key engineering areas required to deliver.
This process will require collaborative efforts from others inside and outside of R&D, who will help craft testing methods and ultimately products that are not just efficient to manufacture but commercially viable. More importantly, it should keep our customers firmly in centre of everything we do!
Responsibilities:
Lead key electrical engineering work-stream activities in the establishment of new product development facility including supporting required quality system obtainment

Derive electrical engineering specifications from customers\' requirements -
Perform hardware design activities including component selection, schematic/PCB layout generation, bills of materials creating, and prototype building. -
Perform Hardware risk analysis with internal cross functional team -
Conduct feasibility studies at early stages of the project -
Participate in developing production test requirements and fixtures -
Test new products for conformance with desired features, standards, and specifications -
Support hardware QA working instruction/template creation and improvement. -
Provide post-production support
To work effectively within a cross-functional team to deliver specified projects, ensuring all actions are identified and delivered to enable sales targets to be achieved in a timely manner.
To create technical documentation as required by the team, ensuring that the project file is suitable for relevant notified bodies, and to present the project at such audits.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree in a relevant Engineering/Science subject area(Electronics/Electrical Engineering), coupled with experience developing products and test methods -
Strong understanding of engineering principles, and practical experience with relevant new product development, requirements management, risk management, verification & validation, and technical leadership experience within a regulated industry required.
