• Engineer must have hands on experience in analog and digital electronics design, including optoelectronics, power electronics and embedded systems, as well as safety and EMC compliance knowledge.
• Engineer will be responsible for the design from concept, schematic, layout until the design files release for PCB fabrication. They will be also responsible for board bring up, functional testing and integration of electronics boards into life science instrumentation.
• Engineer should be proficient in CAD tools for schematic and PCB design. Solid understanding in CADENCE OrCAD and PADS are preferred.

How will you get here? Education

• Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Honors) with validated meaningful experience, Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree is an added advantage.

Experience

• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design teams, preferably in the field of biotechnology instrumentation.
• Extensive experience with analog & digital electronics, power electronics, schematics capture & layout design (including library design), cable assembly design, and design documentation.
• Experience with embedded systems, DC/stepper motor drivers, opto-electronics, CMOS/CCD control electronics.
• Experience in NPI project execution and familiar with Product Development Life Cycle.
• Experience in Altium is added advantage.
• Prototypes board development experience is must-have requirement.
• Working experience in multi-functional teams is required for senior engineer position.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Years of proven experience required: 6 Years+.
• Excellent solving skills and failure analysis knowledge is a must.
• Broad knowledge of innovative components, lab tools, and electronics CAD products is required.
• Knowledge of EMC countermeasures to Class B levels.
• Hands-on experience in AutoCAD, OrCAD, PADS, or Altium.
• Meticulous and tenacious self-starter.
• Successful candidate should be a good teammate with excellent communication skill.
