Job Title Senior Employee Relations Lead Summary Role Summary:The Employee Relations Lead is responsible for proactively partnering with the business leaders in the area of employee relations, performance management and leadership coaching.The ER Lead works closely with the business to anticipate and communicate ER related needs proactively and ensure all initiatives and programs are implemented effectively and aligned with Cushman & Wakefield\xe2\x80\x99s strategic priorities.The ER Lead ensures all employment law requirements are satisfactorily met across all areas of Human Resources, leads specific Human Resources projects and supported by data and analytics, provides professional HR guidance and support tailored to the business.About the Role:

  • Provide expertise in managing employee relations matters and ensure an effective investigation process to deal promptly with grievances
  • Minimize risk to organization by actively responding to and addressing employee concerns in a timely manner.
  • Make accurate and informed decisions regarding when an investigation is required and where required carry out investigations according to best practice principles
  • Work with people leaders on restructures to ensure that they follow all legal requirements and can be commercially justified
  • Collaborate with legal and outside counsel as needed to address complex or highly sensitive issues.
  • Provide appropriate coaching and feedback to people leaders and individuals. Lead and/or support (as appropriate) performance management of poor performing employees, including (where appropriate) the development of a Performance Improvement Plan
  • A strong knowledge of industrial relations in Singapore, build good and harmonious industrial relations by working closely with union leaders and members. Handle grievances, resolve conflicts and negotiate collective agreements as required
  • Brief external legal counsel (where required) and prepare materials for any legal proceeding (where appropriate)
  • Represent Cushman & Wakefield at any conciliation or mediation
  • Deliver and ensure adherence to Company required training, particularly related to performance management
  • Partner with the Ethics & Compliance teams
  • Support rollout of regional initiatives and projects
  • Ensure that our policies are up to date and if needed, formulate with new policies.
  • Train and educate both managers and employees
About You:
  • Employee Relations Specialist with experience working in a large corporate organization.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory environment and employment laws in Singapore.
  • A capable and confident communicator, with strong personal presence. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Expertise in coaching, counselling and influencing a high performing, diverse and inclusive culture
  • Leadership and change management skills with the ability to motivate and influence others and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Proven ability to manage and build relationships with leaders and team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\x93 adept at collaborating, influencing and developing relationships at all levels of the organization, even in demanding situations
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment, cultivating strong relationships locally and regionally
  • Demonstrated capability partnering and working with a variety of HR Centers of Excellence (COE)
  • Ability to work well under pressure, balance multiple priorities and produce results
  • Proactive approach, commercially focused execution skills. Able to prioritize with attention to detail and operates well in a changing environment
  • Strong personal integrity and the capability in dealing with confidential information
  • Tenacity and patience to deal with ambiguity and change
