Key link between customer, division, sales and marketing to support the deployment of STM32 Wireless onto the market.
This requires in-depth knowledge on the STM32 Wireless portfolio and associated technologies (e.g Bluetooth) to support customers working on our solutions during the all development cycle from the PoC, through the development up to final testing.
Reporting to Wireless FAE Manager, candidate will lead ST's customer engagement from a technical perspective. This includes strong collaboration with several stakeholders either within ST (sales, marketing, division) or outside of ST (distribution partners).
Direct contact with customers implies excellent communication skills.
Principal accountabilities are:
Understanding of the customer requirements. This requires ability to identify needs before the customer does. Wireless FAE is the owner of the technical solution development, demonstration, proposal, and delivery.
Developing technical solutions for our customers. This requires strong background in the wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Zigbee, Subgig, WiFi, Cellular, UWB) and mastering embedded development cycle skills (Coding, Compilation, Debugging) in order to create and support these solutions.
Participation to multiple events (technical seminars, webinars , roadshows) to convey FAE's wireless technology expertise along with insights from ST products. This includes ability to introduce, present products and solutions to different types of audiences.
Creating, developing and maintaining long term relationships and loyalty with customers through value creation. This implies teaming with sales, marketing and division to develop and win complex opportunities.
Profile
Global experience of 5-10 years in semiconductor
Previous position as Wireless FAE is ideal profile
Strong experience in wireless System On Chip (main technologies are BLE 5.3, LoRa, SigFox, WiFi 4, NB-IoT)
Experience in wireless middleware stack development and application (Bluetooth LE, LPWAN, Wifi)
Hardware and software hands-on experience with microcontroller based system
Strong experience in embedded firmware development in C/C++ and debugging specifically for ARM Cortex-M based microcontrollers.
Exposure to schematics and PCB layout design review.
