Job Description

Part of the I&C team supporting Production, Mechanical and Project units in the Plant. Responsible for maintaining technical integrity and leading instrument and control design, upgrades, and minor projects.





You must be well versed in at least 2 of these: Yokogawa DCS / PLC / Cyber OT.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance on instrument issues. Reduce maintenance costs and improve reliability and availability. Liaise with authorities and external partners on pipeline, power, and metering interfaces. Maintain and update procedures for instruments, PLCs, F&G, ESD, metering, and security systems. Conduct root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions. Lead MOC projects from design to commissioning. Oversee inspection, testing, and certification of I&C equipment in hazardous areas. Support plant turnarounds, expansion, and functional safety lifecycle (SIS). Participate in emergency response duties as assigned.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent. + 8 years' I&C design or maintenance experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical plants. Strong knowledge of IEC 61511, local codes, and international standards. Experience with PLCs (Siemens preferred), F&G, ESD, and control systems. Functional Safety certification advantageous. Skilled in troubleshooting and project execution.
