Perform tasks at the direction of supervisor
Manage & monitor the health of the network & server environments on a 24x7 rotating shift basis
Follow established processes used by the team and participate in regular process reviews
Maintain service standards defined in OLA/SLA
Ticket management (incident, service request & change) for network & systems queues
Respond to incidents following the standard incident response procedure & assist with resolution
Network equipment configuration & management, including switches, firewalls & IPS
Assignment & management of IP addresses
Basic Windows administration tasks, including patch management
Building of Wintel virtual machines
Daily handover to shift personnel
Project support to the business unit as required
Consolidation of team documentation upon project completion
IT service requests may include solving escalation issues related to gaming systems
Job RequirementsEducation & Certification
Degree in Business or Technology related curriculum preferred
Experience
Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
Formal training and certification in Network Management & Design
Formal training and certification in Windows Operating System Management & Design (preferred)
Formal training and certification in VMware virtualization (preferred)
Experience working in a high-pressured 24x7 environment
Strong experience with network switching/routing &/or firewalls configuration & management
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with network support, 3 years for Windows support
Experience in network hardware/software troubleshooting /performance tuning
Experience in firewall support, maintenance & troubleshooting support
Experience supporting & maintaining a medium to large scale enterprise network
Experience with HP Procurve &/or Check Point Firewalls extremely advantageous
Minimum 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience with MS server (2003/2008/2008R2), Active Directory and VMware
Hands-on experience with server hardware (HP/IBM/Dell/Cisco) preferred
Experience with server patch management using Microsoft SCCM
Experience in server and Microsoft OS troubleshooting /performance tuning
General experience with other infrastructure components (storage, backup)
