Responsibilities
Delivery of SPTel services which includes the provisioning of core network equipment, customer premises equipment and fiber patching.
Installation, testing and commissioning of customer\xe2\x80\x99s subscribed services
Assist in service recovery in relation to fibre disruption and active equipment issues
Oversee and manage the end to end in building deployment to ensure that the service delivery is completed within the stipulated service levels
Provide standby support after office hours
Vendor management and participation in site survey where required
Compile reports for management review
Requirements
Degree / Diploma in telecommunication, computer engineering or IT related field
3 years of working experience in a telco or passive and active infrastructure environment is preferred. Graduates are welcomed to apply.
Strong technical knowledge of passive/active infrastructure and Data Centre operation
Good understanding of Networking knowledge, e.g. WAN/LAN, TCP/IP etc
Familiar with site deployment of in-building telco\xe2\x80\x99s facilities and assets
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with contractors, colleagues and Data Centre
Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and able to work under high-pressure environment especially during emergency restoration of telecommunications services
Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player
Assist in other operational tasks as required
Applicants with class 3 driving license will have an added advantage
