JR27646 Senior Engineer/Engineer, Global AMHS As a Global AMHS Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., your passion, energy, and unique perspective will enable our next generation and world class automation designs across a geographically diverse network of Front-End fabs. You will become a member of a team that designs our automation solutions, defines and enables equipment roadmaps, supports our third party negotiations, Establishes business processes, and drives global alignment to meet our performance targets. Examples include working with suppliers to achieve benchmark manufacturing performance, discovery and implementation of equipment and process safety standards and methodology, equipment utilization optimization, efficiency optimization, cash cost optimization, and continuous improvement project execution. Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Design AMHS systems that meet required capacity and efficiency requirements.
• Tenaciously find opportunities to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
• Become a domain professional in AMHS OHT, BWS, and Sorter configuration, operations, and optimizations.
• Facilitate global meetings and develop strategy to drive peer groups to align to global solution, procedures, standards, detailed documentation (DOC 2 and Process Information), and metrics.
• Collaborate with Global Procurement to ensure technical requirements are collected and included in procurement strategies with suppliers.
• Collaborate with corporates EHSS and site EHS to ensure all safety requirements are conform to all Micron safety policies, and able to identify potential hazards.
• Knowledge of SharePoint is helpful and design Global AMHS portal.
• Develop new efficient metrics and supervise each site benchmarking Performance.
• Immediately deployable to any site for tactical firefighting.
• Facilitate Technical Review Meeting with vendors, evaluate new technology, establish future roadmaps.
• Establish and maintain a repository of AMHS design criteria and information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
• Proficient in English and Japanese both verbal and written
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
