Job Description

Responsible for developing and implementing strategies related to sustainability, environmental, social, and governance issues within an organization.

Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing an ESG strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and values Monitoring and reporting on the organization's ESG performance and progress towards its goals Engaging with stakeholders, employees, and customers, to understand their ESG concerns and priorities Collaborating with Hong Kong, other departments and teams to integrate ESG considerations into business operations and decision-making Staying up-to-date with the latest ESG trends, regulations, and best practices, and ensuring the organization's compliance with relevant standards and regulations Data collection and analysis An understanding of coding/programming would be advantageous, although not a prerequisite for the role Offer strategic input on environmental and sustainability matters, particularly related to green and healthy buildings Support tender team in environmental strategy and input to building project tenders, coordinating timely and quality response to tenders and innovative solutions Promote sustainability and ESG best practice and awareness, internally & externally Coordinate studies or initiatives across the business to support the delivery of the sustainability strategy and improvement of ESG metrics Co-ordinate and review data, and report progress on environmental and sustainability objectives and targets Liaise with different internal divisions and external parties to help formulate the overall company and business development strategies

Requirements:

Degree in Environmental, Sustainability or related discipline At least 5 years of relevant experience in ESG risk, environmental, or sustainability within construction industry Able to manage team works, plan and execute projects, manage change across a team or organisation Able to work in a fast-paced environment that is highly collaborative with multiple stakeholders Possess strong communication skills to interact with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts Capacity to monitor diverse, complex issues (climate change, biodiversity, ESG issues affecting business etc)
