Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for receiving, organizing and reviewing tender specifications and most importantly to fully understand project preambles and method of measurement for purpose of preparation accurate costing for tender in line with Project Requirements Organize discussion with Operations department to finalise and incorporate all related cost involving the project execution plan for the project and to discuss with QAQC and Safety Department to capture the cost of the Project specifications, technical and regulatory requirements Responsible for preparing tender qualifications and exceptions based on basis of costing and highlighting any deviation from the project specifications Responsible for ensuring an efficient filing system for clarifications and submissions is maintained, as well as the safe custody of cost estimations for all tenders Responsible for coordinating and requesting quotations from Procurement & Sub-contracting Department, suppliers and contractors for costing estimation and updating of cost database Responsible for preparing cost estimations and summary reports in a timely fashion for submission to senior management for review and formulation of pricing strategy Responsible for conducting tender costing review with senior management and tender committee for approval Responsible for the updating of commercial data, commodity market indices, market cost data, unit rates and technical information on materials, services and labour, in order for Executive Management to make informed decisions Responsible for preparing project budget for commercial handover to production department upon project award Responsible to carry out costing analysis and post mortem analysis based on data collected from completed projects and to conduct lesson learnt on tenders which were not successfulM Mentor and impart knowledge and estimation know-how to new and junior estimators. Check junior estimator's work and cost estimates and provide advice on pitfalls and to rectify errors.

Job Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in any Engineering or technical discipline 5 years of experience as an Estimator in Oil & Gas / Marine & Offshore sector Oil & Gas fabrication estimating experience preferred
