We are a hub of knowledge and innovation, attracting healthcare professionals who are passionate about pushing boundaries and making significant contributions to the field.About Department and Purpose of the PositionResponsible for ensuring the seamless, efficient, and cost-effective operations of various imaging modalities (e.g., X-ray, MRI, CT, Nuclear Imaging, Ultrasound). This role focuses on coordinating patient care activities, optimizing service delivery, and enhancing the patient experience. You will work closely with clinical teams, department heads, and external stakeholders to drive performance improvements, spearhead innovative strategies, and adapt to rapid technological advancements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)

  • Operations
  • Plan, coordinate and support the operations of assigned imaging modalities. (e.g. X-Ray, MRI, CT, Nuclear Imaging, Ultrasound, General Scans, etc.) Ensuring that the assigned imaging modalities is able to meet the clinical needs and adhere to established quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Review and update policies and workflows in partnership with DDI clinical team recommending processes and controls to improve and optimize efficiency, utilisation, and service delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage assigned projects to minimize disruption and ensure the continued delivery of imaging services to the hospital.
  • Business Management
  • Monitor operational budgets, analyze expenditure trends and utilization data to optimize resource allocation. Develop and drive strategies to boost revenues, control costs, and improve financial performance through insightful analytics.
  • Enable data-driven and cost-conscious utilization of resources across assigned modalities through guidance and budget oversight.
  • Assist the section head to formulate plans and strategies to steer the department towards better and improved services and at the same time keep abreast with rapid technology advancement and external competition.
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)
  • Service and Patient Experience
  • Oversee and drive \xe2\x80\x9cIncredible Service\xe2\x80\x9d initiatives and strategies. Working with front-counter ancillary staff and the DDI team to continually improve patient experience and communications.
  • Work with Section Head to drive communications and initiatives between hospital leadership and front-counter staff, ensuring timely dissemination of information, management and recommendations.
  • Others
  • Supervise and guide junior staff where appropriate.
  • Render administrative and professional support to clinical projects or hospital projects in collaboration with clinical or project team.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by reporting officer.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Preferably 2 years of working experience, in a healthcare setting
  • Exposure or Familiarity to healthcare systems would be a bonus
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Familiarity with project management, process improvement and customer service
  • Open to problem-based learning and continuous skills development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Able to perform under pressure
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently
  • Service-oriented and customer-focused
  • Strong team player with leadership potential
