Overall Purpose of Job

Preparation and submission of tenders Support project execution, including major equipment procurement and sub-contracting works

Responsibilities:

Submit and perform cost estimation for management approval Assist Manager in specifications, clarifications meetings and/or negotiation with equipment suppliers Check completeness and scope of suppliers' offers versus specifications Work with Engineering Design to ensure suppliers' scope of supply fulfil requirements of specifications Preparation and submission of tenders Preparation and submission of project budget for management approval Procurement of major equipment Preparation and submission of variations orders Invoicing of payment milestone and variation orders Create new project and system numbers in SAP system for cost capturing Review actual cost incurred against budget Work and liaise with Project Department (person-in-charge) on specific projects

Requirements:

Preferably a degree in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture 1-2 years of experience in a related industry Candidates with no experience may apply Engineering knowledge is preferred Able to read and understand technical drawing Knowledge of MS Office and SAP Ability to travel at short notice if required Good interpersonal skills Self- motivated and attention to detai
