• Work closely with the Communications Director to develop and execute communications plans for both internal and external audiences
• Internal content creation for multiple channels to ensure employees are well informed and engaged
• Craft scripts and produce monthly management videos
• Contribute to the shaping of a positive employer brand among current and potential employees
• Engage with employees to unearth human-interest stories for internal/external publicity
• Work closely with marketing and social media agency to develop social media content consistent with company brand voice
• Post ad hoc service announcements on social media
• Draft media releases, actively pitch stories to the media and facilitate interviews
• Work with the Communications Director to manage company reputation online and in the media
• Monitor relevant trends and conversations and leverage them for positive visibility/publicity
• Manage events including launches, brand activation, public engagement
• Work with marketing and social media agency to ensure content on company website is current and accurate
• Liaise with government authority on media/communication related matters
• Support the broader work of the Communications and Customer Experience team including organising staff and community engagement events and stakeholder management

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in an internal or external communications role
• Marketing and/or journalism experience is a plus
• A knack for coming up with interesting story angles
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Competent in written and spoken Mandarin required with stakeholders
• Comfortable interacting with both rank and file and management
• Ability to use design software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Illustrator) is a plus
