Its diversified real estate asset classes cover retail, office, lodging, business parks, industrial, logistics and data centres.The JobReporting to the Senior Manager, you will play the part of a Data Engineer to build and design our Enterprise Data Platform for optimal data retrieval to facilitate the development of dashboards and other visualizations for our Senior Management and business stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesTo design, build and test in the deployment and operation phases of the Enterprise Data Platform for current and future projects.Review, construct or re-structure, test and maintain data architectureReview and establish best practices for data management, reporting and securityImprove data foundational procedures, guidelines and standardsEvaluate datasets and identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and qualityComprehend, design, acquire and manage organizational datasets that support analytics to achieve business goalsOptimize data retrieval to facilitate development of dashboards and other visualizations for stakeholdersPrepare fundamental data for prescriptive and predictive modelingCoordinate with CapitaLand\xe2\x80\x99s infrastructure teams to complete planned tasks and problem-solving where necessarySupport data management projects when needed and perform additional data related tasksRequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant technical disciplinesAt least 3 years of data engineering or software engineering experienceExperience in object-oriented design, coding and test patterns as well as experience in engineering software platforms and large-scale data infrastructureIn-depth knowledge of data modelling and understanding of different data structures, benefits and limitations under particular used casesHands-on working experience with big data systemsExtensive knowledge in different programming or scripting languagesExperienced in Microsoft stack of analytics products (SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, Integration Services, Data Quality, Master Data Services, Power BI)Possesses a strong willingness to learn on the job continuously, embracing new and varied technologies that are centered around all aspects of data managementStrong interpersonal and communication skills, can-do attitude and willingness to perform hands-on work is necessaryBenefits
