Contribute to digital learning projects across multiple learning platforms and projects.
Support the design, development, and production of high-quality digital media.
Manage and deliver audio-visual projects across the university.
Provide specialist advice in the design, development, and delivery of blended learning and educational technologies, resources, and materials to university staff and academics.
Development and Delivery
Collaborate with the Learning Designer to Convert the approved content and storyboard into an e-learning course with the application of appropriate images, text, script, proper navigation activities, animations, and interactions.
Test the online/e-learning courseware to ensure that all the features and functions are working in order
Operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment, to capture high-quality footage for use in e-learning.
Consultation with students
Advise students on the use of learning technologies.
Assist students with issues affecting online learning
Consultation with staff
Work collaboratively with staff and academics across the university to produce engaging digital media content.
Work with academics and program staff to envision and design blended learning materials enhanced by educational technology, interactive tools, and digital media resources.
Provide support to staff on the use of technology-enabled learning tools e.g. LMS support
Criteria:
Polytechnic Diploma or higher in one or more of the following disciplines;
E-learning and instructional design
Media Production and Design
Gamification Design
Relevant Experience
3 or more years of experience in the following areas;
Demonstrated experience with blended learning preferably in a higher education environment, including experience in the design and development of educational media, working with a learning management system.
Demonstrated knowledge of audio-visual systems and technologies preferably in a higher education environment
Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Technical Attributes:
Demonstrated ability to design, produce and deliver high-quality digital media and blended learning content
Practical experience using technology-enhanced teaching tools and software such as Articulate 360 suite of products.
Practical experience in the use of Adobe Creative Suite of products, e.g. Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator and Animate
Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Desirable Criteria:
Knowledge of E-learning and learning management systems e.g. Blackboard
