Job Description

Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is looking for 2 Educational Analytics Technologist to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in data warehouse systems and learning data analytics to develop student and staff facing dashboards.The Candidate will play a key role mainly in, but not limited to the following:Integrate data from diverse sources such as learning management systems (LMS), assessment platform, application, external APIsExtract, transform and load structure and unstructured data into data warehouse/cloud systemDevelop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data collection and processingTroubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data refreshes or discrepancies in analyticsEnsure data quality and accuracy in data validation and transformation processesMaintain and manage the dashboard analytics refresh process to ensure data accuracy and integrityMonitor data sources and identify opportunities for improvement in data quality and refresh efficiencyStay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies related to dashboard analytics and data managementInterpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders using data visualization tools and techniques.Maintain comprehensive documentation of data warehouse processes, schemas, and configurations.Requirements:Bachelor in Data Engineering, Computer Sciences, Business analytics, Information Technology or its equivalentKnowledge and proficient in database management systems (eg. SQL Server, mySQL, PostgreSQL), data warehouse development and best practices as well as cloud technologies (eg. AWS)Knowledge of ETL processes and data integrationUnderstanding of data modelling concepts and data architecture for analyticsFamiliarity with data visualization tools and reporting techniques (eg. Power BI)Experience with the Denodo platform is preferredProficiency in programming languages (eg. Python) and machine learning algorithms is a plusExperience with LMS and educational technology tools is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasetsEffective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teamsThis is a 3 years contract appointment.Hiring Institution: LKC
