What the role is:

As an Assistant Executive/ Senior Assistant Executive, Educational Leadership and School Excellence in the Schools Division, you will provide administrative support to the Educational Leadership and School Excellence Branch in areas such as procurement, asset management and estate management to ensure the smooth operation of the branch.

What you will be working on:

• Assist in the branch\'s financial operations including processing of claims/ payments and preparation of budget reports/ analysis \xe2\x80\xa2 Render support in procurement matters and processes as well as the management of contracts in compliance with MOE guidelines \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide logistical and administrative support for events, trainings, and branch activities, including sourcing, booking, and setting up of venues, printing and packing of materials, as well as managing training course registration and administration for officers \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle store/ asset management matters including maintaining proper inventory records of office supplies \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide support in managing and administering various MOE IT systems and maintaining databases

• Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Good customer-service orientation and people management skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous and ability to multi-task \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work well in teams as well as independently in a fast-paced environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable with using IT systems \xe2\x80\xa2 Preferably with relevant work experience in finance, procurement and budgeting \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of using NFS@Gov and Gebiz would be an advantage In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 4 weeks of the close of the application window.
