Job Description
[What the role is]
You will be part of the Licensing Branch under the Industry Standards and Regulatory Division to manage animal establishments in Singapore through a licensing regime to safeguard animal health and welfare.
[What you will be working on]
Based in JEM at Jurong East, you will support the Licensing Branch in the day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
- Process applications for licences, permits and certificates for import, export or transhipment of animals, animal products, biologics and other related products.
- Attend to enquiries from customers on matters related to import, export or transhipment of above-mentioned commodities.
- Utilise electronic processing systems and relevant databases.
- Diploma in Veterinary Bioscience or other relevant Science disciplines is preferred.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Responsible and independent
- Competent in IT and MS Office Applications and able to learn new in-house computer systems/applications
- Prior customer service experience is preferred
