Job Description
[What the role is]
You will be part of the Licensing Branch under the Industry Standards and Regulatory Division to manage animal establishments in Singapore through a licensing regime to safeguard animal health and welfare.
[What you will be working on]
Based in JEM at Jurong East, you will support the Licensing Branch in the day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
Prepare, issue, renew/cancel licence for animal establishments through active monitoring of the status of licence validity for licence renewal
Conduct joint site visit with inspection officers on new farming proposal before licence issuance
Maintain and update the database for licensed establishments to ensure data is current and accurate
Assist managers in preparing data for monthly/annual reports and requests from other Divisions and external agencies
Attend to public enquiries related to licensing and lease of animal establishments
Participate in projects or work tasks assigned by the Branch
[What we are looking for]
Good communication skills and possess a keen eye for details.
Able to converse in basic Mandarin is an added advantage.
Able to work independently and as a team.
Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
